Connecting Stakeholders to Boost
Sustainable Development

On the 25th of November 2021, Pilot4DEV visited the Duluti Green Foundation Trust in the Arumeru district, Tanzania.

The foundation is handling several projects relating to women’s welfare and entrepreneurship, children’s enhanced livelihoods and environmental protection.

Alongside environmental conservation actions as well as programs relating to health and education, the foundation focuses on women's empowerment. Tree planting trainings are provied to women by the volunteers of the foundation's tree nursery in Tengeru. Also, groups of women have been formed for business start up guidance, cultural product production, vegetable growing and several other enterprises. These women face many challenges - marketing of their products, understanding micro-finance and loan application procedures, etc. The volunteers of the Duluti Green Foundation help them to reach their goals.

Pilot4DEV supports this initiative. On the occasion of this visit and meeting, a tree has been planted!
